are you ready for some football?

Ya know ... I was just thinking .... today is different. It is the first day of football season and I am not: planning the menu, packing the suburban, playing golf, taking a trip to Providence, scheming my next media appearance and all the other things we as Patriots look forward to on Kick Off Thursday as our birthright. Guess what ... it pisses me off and I will not stand for it! We must win the superbowl so that next year at this time - it is truly another holiday in New England or atleast my little world!

I will leave you with this commentary from TSG:

To Tom Brady, who has the same look on his face that Uma Thurman had after she left the hospital in "Kill Bill." I don't think he's cracked a smile since the Denver game: No more magazine covers, very few interviews, very few public appearances … just a lot of lifting, throwing and scowling for nine straight months. The man is possessed. You have to believe me. And wait until you see how they perfected the two-tight end gimmick. Load up on the run and they send the big guys downfield. Play the pass and they chip away for four yards a pop with Dillon and Maroney. And did I mention that a pissed off Brady will be doing the audibling at the line? It's like an unstoppable Madden offense sprung to life. Throw in an easy schedule and you can put the Pats down for 11-12 wins, even without Deion Branch (who dropped a number of big catches last season, by the way). I know, I know, you think I'm biased. Just wait.

Cathy and Todd,

I just wanted to follow up on the lobsters that I got on Saturday. We ordered:

2 x 2-2.25 lb.
1 x 1.5 lb.

We got:

2 x 1.25 lb.
1 x 1.5 lb.

What was even worse was that they were not even fully cooked. Basically $68 for 3 lobsters we could not eat. I know you promised to make good by them - so I just wanted you to know the specifics.I understand that you are in the process of training people and getting things running - so the mistake in understandable. You know - when I placed the order, just the tone of the person on the phone gave me the feeling I was going to have a problem. You have had a great track record and know you will work the kinks out. The building looks great and other than this incident it looks like you areoff to a great start. I wish you the best ....
